Nia Sharma is an Indian television actress and model known primarily for her work in Hindi-language television serials and web series. She rose to prominence with her role as Manvi Chaudhary in the Star Plus drama Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and later played the lead in Jamai Raja on Zee TV.

Background

Nia Sharma was born in Delhi and brought up there before moving to Mumbai to pursue a career in television. She studied mass communication and worked briefly in advertising before turning to acting.

Television

Sharma made her television debut in 2010 with Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha on Colors TV. She gained wider recognition through Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus, in which she played Manvi Chaudhary opposite Kushal Tandon, a pairing that became popular with viewers of the serial.

From 2014 she played Roshni Patel in Zee TV's Jamai Raja, opposite Ravi Dubey. The show ran for several seasons and established her as a leading face on Hindi general entertainment television.

In 2019–2020 she was cast as one of the leads in Naagin 4, the fourth season of Ekta Kapoor's supernatural franchise on Colors TV. She later appeared in Jamai 2.0, the digital continuation of Jamai Raja, on ZEE5.
