Neville Madziva (born 2 August 1991) is a Zimbabwean cricketer who has represented the Zimbabwe national cricket team in international and domestic formats. An all-rounder, he is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who is capable of batting in the lower order.

Career

International debut

Madziva was introduced to the Zimbabwe national side during South Africa's tour of Zimbabwe in August 2014. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, in the first match of the three-match series. He featured in another match of the series, in which he dismissed Wayne Parnell, although he was unable to make a contribution with the bat.

Tri-Series performance

Madziva returned to the Zimbabwe side for the final fixture of a Tri-Series, where he claimed the wickets of Hashim Amla and JP Duminy. He scored three runs with the bat, and Zimbabwe lost the match by 63 runs.

Twenty20 International debut

He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for Zimbabwe against India on 17 July 2015.

Later appearances

In September 2018, Madziva was named in Zimbabwe's squad for the 2018 Africa T20 Cup. In December 2020, he was selected to play for the Rhinos in the 2020–21 Logan Cup, Zimbabwe's premier first-class domestic competition.

Playing style

Madziva is primarily recognised as a right-arm medium-fast bowler whose role in the Zimbabwean set-up has been to provide pace bowling support, while contributing as a lower-order batter when required.
