Overview
Nelson Odhiambo (born 21 March 1989) is a Kenyan cricketer who has represented Kenya in several international tournaments organised under the auspices of the International Cricket Council. He featured for the Kenyan side in the 2014 Cricket World Cup Qualifier, marking one of his earlier appearances in a major ICC event.
In January 2018, Odhiambo was named in Kenya's squad for the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament. Later in the same year, in September, he was included in the squad for the 2018 Africa T20 Cup. The following month, he was selected for Kenya's squad for the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament held in Oman, where he emerged as the leading run-scorer for his side, accumulating 158 runs across five matches.
In May 2019, Odhiambo was named in Kenya's squad for the Regional Finals of the 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier tournament, which was staged in Uganda. A few months later, in September 2019, he was selected in the Kenyan squad for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier tournament held in the United Arab Emirates.
