Background

The NIPER system was established by the Government of India to address the need for trained human resources, advanced research and technology development in the pharmaceutical sector. Following the success of the first NIPER at Mohali, Punjab, the Government announced additional NIPERs in different parts of the country, with NIPER Raebareli being among the institutes set up to extend this network.
