Overview

Natasha Rastogi (born Natasha Khanna) is an Indian actress and director who has worked across film, television and stage. She made her screen debut as Sona Verma in Mira Nair's Monsoon Wedding, a film that won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival and received a Golden Globe Award nomination.

Rastogi has since taken on a variety of roles in front of the camera and on the theatre stage. In Hindi cinema, she appeared as Salma in the 2010 film Do Dooni Chaar. On television, she played the character Panbaa in the series Gulaal.

Alongside her screen work, Rastogi has had a sustained engagement with Indian theatre. She was conferred the Best Actress Award at the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards 2007 for her performance in Nati Binodini, directed by Amal Allana.
