Overview
Mimi Chakraborty (born 11 February 1989) is an Indian actress, singer and politician, primarily associated with Bengali cinema and television. She made her film debut with Bapi Bari Jaa, in which she played the female lead, Dola.
Apart from her work on screen, Chakraborty entered public life through electoral politics. She served as a Member of Parliament in the 17th Lok Sabha, representing the Jadavpur constituency from 2019 to 2024.
Chakraborty was featured in the Calcutta Times list of Most Desirable Women in 2016 and 2020.
