Mehboob Studio is an Indian film and recording studio located in Bandra (West), Mumbai, Maharashtra. Background
Mehboob Khan, the founder, was among the most prominent filmmakers of early Hindi cinema, best known for directing Mother India (1957), which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film. He established Mehboob Productions and, subsequently, the studio bearing his name as a base for his own films and for the wider Bombay film industry.
