Meghann Moira Lanning, born on 25 March 1992, is an Australian cricketer who formerly captained the national women's team. Over the course of her international career, she was part of seven successful world championship campaigns, winning two Women's Cricket World Cup titles and five ICC Women's World Twenty20 titles.
Lanning holds the record for the most centuries in Women's One Day Internationals and is the first Australian batter to score 2,000 runs in Women's Twenty20 Internationals. She announced her retirement from international cricket on 10 November 2023.
In Australian domestic cricket, Lanning represents Victoria in the Women's National Cricket League and turns out for the Melbourne Stars in the Women's Big Bash League. In Indian domestic cricket, she captained the Delhi Capitals in the Women's Premier League from the inaugural 2023 season through to 2025. Ahead of the 2026 WPL, she was acquired by the UP Warriorz.
