Overview

Manoj Choudhary is an Indian politician who has served as a member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He was elected from the Hatpipliya constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Choudhary was initially associated with the Indian National Congress and entered the Legislative Assembly as a member of that party. As a legislator from Hatpipliya, he represented the constituency in the state assembly during his tenure with the Congress.

During the 2020 Madhya Pradesh political crisis, Choudhary aligned himself with senior Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia. He was among the group of 22 Congress MLAs who resigned from the Legislative Assembly during this period. Following the resignations, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party along with other legislators associated with Scindia, a development that contributed to a change in the ruling party in the state.
