Mahatma Gandhi University (MG University) is a state public university located in Kottayam, in the Indian state of Kerala. Established to expand higher education access in central and parts of southern Kerala, it functions as an affiliating and teaching university, with a network of constituent and affiliated colleges across several districts. The university is named after Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.
