Overview
The Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), formerly known as the Lakshmibai National University of Physical Education, is a deemed-to-be-university dedicated to higher education in physical education, coaching and sports. It is situated in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The institute functions under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, and is committed to excellence in physical education, sports coaching and allied disciplines in the country.
The LNIPE campus is located on the Agra–Mumbai Highway in the Shaktinagar area of Gwalior, at a walking distance of around 500 metres from the Gwalior railway station.
