Overview
Loganathan Murugan (born 29 May 1977) is an Indian politician and advocate. He currently serves as a Minister of State in the Government of India, holding charge in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Murugan was inducted into the Union Council of Ministers as a Minister of State on 7 July 2021. Prior to his elevation to the central government, he served as the state president of the Tamil Nadu unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), leading the party's organisational activities in the state.
In addition to his political career, Murugan is trained in law and has worked as an advocate. His public roles have spanned organisational responsibilities within the BJP at the state level and ministerial responsibilities at the union level.
