Krystle D'Souza is an Indian actress who works primarily in Hindi television and the digital streaming space. She rose to prominence through her portrayal of Jeevika Vadhera in the Star Plus drama Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, and has since appeared in several popular daily soaps and web series.

Background

D'Souza was born and raised in Mumbai. She completed her schooling in the city and pursued higher education while taking up modelling and acting assignments. She entered the entertainment industry in her late teens, focusing on television, which was then the dominant medium for emerging actors in India.

Television

D'Souza made her acting debut in 2007 with Kahe Naa Kahe, a daily soap aired on Star One, where she portrayed Anika. She subsequently appeared in Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki (2008) on 9X, in which she played Subhadra.

Her breakthrough came with Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (2011–2013) on Star Plus, where she played Jeevika Vadhera, the elder of two close-knit sisters. The show, produced by 4 Lions Films, was a major commercial success and established her as one of the leading faces of Hindi television in the early 2010s.

She later played the lead in Ek Nayi Pehchaan (2013–2014) on Sony TV and the antagonist Tanya Bhushan in Brahmarakshas (2016) on Zee TV.

Reality and non-fiction

D'Souza has appeared on stunt-based and travel reality shows, including Khatron Ke Khiladi. She has also featured in dance specials and televised award functions associated with the Indian television industry.

Web series and films

She made her digital debut in 2019 with Fittrat on ALTBalaji, opposite Aditya Seal. In 2021, she made her Hindi film debut in Chehre, directed by Rumy Jafry, which featured an ensemble cast led by Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi.

She has subsequently continued to take up streaming projects alongside television appearances.
