Overview
Kharaj Mukherjee, also known as Kharaj Mukhopadhyay, is an Indian actor, comedian and singer associated primarily with the Bengali film industry. Through a career spanning a wide range of characters, he has come to be regarded as one of the versatile performers in Bengali cinema.
Beyond acting, Mukherjee has also worked as a playback singer. He received the Bengal Film Journalists' Association – Best Male Playback Award in 2004 for his contribution to the film Patalghar.
