Overview
Jehan Mubarak (born 10 January 1981) is a Sri Lankan former professional cricketer who represented his country across all three international formats of the game. A left-handed batsman and right-arm off-break bowler, he was regarded as a versatile all-round contributor to the Sri Lankan side during his career.
Mubarak was born in Washington, D.C., United States, making him one of the few Test cricketers to have been born in that country. His name is rendered in Sinhala as ජෙහාන් මුබාරක් and in Tamil as ஜெகன் முபாரக்.
At the international level, Mubarak was part of the Sri Lankan squad at the 2003 Cricket World Cup. He was also included in Sri Lanka's squad for the inaugural ICC World Twenty20 held in 2007, featuring in the country's earliest forays into the shortest format of international cricket.
