Candidates must have appeared for the Class XII examination for the first time in either 2024 or 2025, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Additionally, they must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC, ST, and PwD) or be within the top 20th percentile of their respective boards.​

Registration Process

The registration for JEE Advanced 2025 is scheduled to commence on April 23, 2025, and will close on May 2, 2025. Candidates must register online through the official portal, providing their JEE Main 2025 credentials, uploading necessary documents, and paying the registration fee. The admit cards will be available for download from May 20, 2025 .​

Cutoff Trends

The cutoff marks for JEE Advanced 2025 will be determined based on various factors, including the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and seat availability. For reference, the expected qualifying marks for JEE Main 2025 to be eligible for JEE Advanced are approximately 95+ for the General category, 85+ for EWS, 83+ for OBC-NCL, and 65+ for SC candidates.
