Jaideep Ahlawat (born 8 February 1980) is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Hindi films and streaming series. A graduate of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), he is recognised for his character-driven performances in both mainstream cinema and web originals, and is the recipient of three Filmfare OTT Awards along with two Filmfare Award nominations.

Background and training
Ahlawat trained as an actor at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune, one of India's premier film schools. After graduating, he took on minor roles in several Hindi films before securing his first widely noticed part.

Early film work
Ahlawat's breakthrough came with Anurag Kashyap's crime epic Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), where his performance drew critical attention. He followed this with supporting roles in commercial Hindi productions, including the action film Commando: A One Man Army (2013), Gabbar Is Back (2015), and the bilingual spy thriller Vishwaroopam II (2018).
Wider recognition
He gained broader visibility through supporting roles in mainstream productions such as Raees (2017) and the Meghna Gulzar-directed espionage drama Raazi (2018).
Paatal Lok and streaming work
In 2020, Ahlawat played the lead role of a police officer in the Amazon Prime Video series Paatal Lok. The performance was widely acclaimed and earned him the Filmfare OTT Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series.
