Background

Pandey emerged through the domestic cricket structure in Madhya Pradesh, a state association affiliated with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He developed as a seam bowler capable of generating bounce and movement, attributes that helped him progress to the Ranji Trophy circuit.
