Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University

The Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAS) is one of the major academic institutes of Banaras Hindu University (BHU), located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. The institute conducts teaching, research and extension activities in the agricultural sciences and is among the older centres of higher agricultural education in India, having grown out of the agriculture programme established at BHU in the early twentieth century.
