The Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang (IGIT Sarang) is a state-owned college of technology located at Sarang in the Dhenkanal district of Odisha, India. Background

IGIT Sarang was established by the Government of Odisha to expand technical education in the state, and is named after former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. The institute is situated in the Sarang area of Dhenkanal, a district in central Odisha that lies within reach of the industrial and educational corridor connecting Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Angul.

Academics

The institute offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programmes across core engineering disciplines such as civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics and telecommunication, computer science, chemical, metallurgical and materials engineering.
