Overview

The Indian Institute of Management Ranchi (IIM Ranchi) is a public business school located in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, India. It was established on 15 December 2009 and became the ninth Indian Institute of Management in the country. The institute was set up under the 11th Five Year Plan and commenced its first classes on 6 July 2010.

IIM Ranchi offers a range of management education programmes, including integrated, postgraduate, doctoral and executive courses. The institute also conducts Management Development Programmes (MDPs) across various streams of management, catering to working professionals and organisations.

Admissions to the institute's flagship programmes are based on scores obtained in the Common Admission Test (CAT), followed by further rounds comprising personal interviews and written tests.
