Overview
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is a public business school headquartered in South West Delhi, India. Established in 1963, it functions under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government of India, with a focus on education, research and training in the field of international business and trade.
The institute has been proposed to be declared as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. In addition to its academic programmes, IIFT serves as a training institute for the probationary officers of the Indian Trade Service.
Apart from its headquarters in South West Delhi, IIFT operates additional campuses in GIFT City, Kolkata and Kakinada. A campus is also set to open in Dubai, and another in Maidangarhi in 2029.
