Overview
ISBM University is a state private university located in Chhura, Gariaband district, in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. The university was established in 2016 by the Alpha Foundation under the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) (Amendment) Act, 2016.
The university operates as a private institution within the framework of state legislation governing private universities in Chhattisgarh. Vinay Agrawal serves as the Chancellor of the university.
ISBM University received the "Best Upcoming University" award for 2017, which was presented by the then Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Prakash Javadekar, in association with the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM).
