Overview

The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), commonly referred to as ICFAI, is a private deemed-to-be-university based in Hyderabad, Telangana. It was established under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956, which confers deemed-to-be-university status on institutions of higher education in India.

The university is situated at Donthanapally on Shankarapally Road, on the outskirts of Hyderabad. As a deemed-to-be-university, IFHE functions within the regulatory framework of the UGC and is empowered to design its own academic programmes and award degrees.

IFHE has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A++ grade. NAAC accreditation is the principal mechanism in India for assessing the quality of higher education institutions across parameters such as curriculum, teaching-learning, research, infrastructure, and governance.
