Overview

Hayley Nicole Kayla Jensen (born 7 October 1992) is a former New Zealand cricketer. Based in Australia, she has represented the ACT Meteors in domestic cricket and has also featured in the Women's Big Bash League. She made her international debut for New Zealand in 2014 and went on to play across white-ball formats for nearly a decade.

Across her international career, Jensen appeared in 35 One Day Internationals and 53 Twenty20 Internationals between 2014 and 2023. She accumulated 484 runs in international cricket, comprising 296 in ODIs and 188 in T20Is, while also picking up 76 wickets, with 28 in ODIs and 48 in T20Is. In June 2016, she was banned from cricket for six months by Cricket Australia for placing a bet of AUD 2 on the first men's Test match between New Zealand and Australia at the Gabba in November 2015.

After touring Ireland and England, Jensen was awarded a central contract by New Zealand Cricket in August 2018. She was subsequently named in New Zealand's squad for the 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20 in the West Indies. In January 2020, she was selected for the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Australia, where she emerged as New Zealand's leading wicket-taker, claiming seven dismissals in four matches.

Jensen was named in New Zealand's squad for the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup, played at home, and later for the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. In August 2022, she was signed by Trinbago Knight Riders as an overseas player for the inaugural edition of the Women's Caribbean Premier League. She announced her retirement from international cricket in May 2025.
