Overview
Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology is a state university located in Hisar, Haryana. It was founded in 1995 and is named after Guru Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj, a 15th century saint associated with environmental conservation.
The university was established on 20 October 1995 by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana, and was formally inaugurated on 1 November 1995. It functions as a public institution of higher learning under the state government.
