Overview
Government Medical College, Haldwani is a medical college located in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, India. Formerly known as Uttarakhand Forest Hospital Trust Medical College, the institution was established in 1997 and is commonly referred to as GMC Haldwani.
The college is affiliated with Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University, Dehradun, and is recognised by the National Medical Commission. It functions as a residential and co-educational medical institution and is among the growing medical colleges in the country.
