Overview
George Herrick Worker (born 23 August 1989) is a former New Zealand international cricketer. A left-handed batter, he represented New Zealand in limited-overs cricket during the mid-2010s.
Worker was named in New Zealand's squad for their tour of Zimbabwe in August 2015, following the withdrawal of Mitchell Santner due to injury. He made his Twenty20 International debut for New Zealand on 9 August 2015, and shortly thereafter made his One Day International debut against South Africa on 23 August 2015.
On 13 August 2024, Worker announced his retirement from professional cricket at the age of 34, citing an opportunity to take up a role with an investment services firm.
