Overview
GLS University is a private university located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It was established in 2015 by the Gujarat Law Society, a long-standing educational trust based in the city.
The university came into existence through The Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2015, which formally recognised it as a private university under the laws of the State of Gujarat.
As a sponsoring body, the Gujarat Law Society oversees the institution, which functions within the framework provided for private universities in Gujarat.
