Ebadot Hossain Chowdhury (Bengali: এবাদত হোসেন চৌধুরী; born 7 January 1994), commonly known as Ebadot Hossain, is a Bangladeshi cricketer. Nicknamed the "Sylhet Rocket" in reference to his pace and skill, he made his international debut for the Bangladesh national cricket team in February 2019. Alongside his cricketing career, he is an active serviceman in the Bangladesh Air Force.

Background

Before establishing himself as an international cricketer, Ebadot was serving in the Bangladesh Air Force, where he continues to be an active soldier. He is one of only two international cricketers known to be simultaneously active as serving soldiers, the other being Sheldon Cottrell of the West Indies.
