Doug Bracewell

Overview

Douglas Andrew John Bracewell, born on 28 September 1990, is a former New Zealand cricketer. A right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium pace bowler, he represented New Zealand at the international level between 2011 and 2023.

Bracewell comes from a well-known cricketing family. He is the son of Brendon Bracewell, a former Test cricketer who played for New Zealand. His uncle, John Bracewell, is also a former Black Caps player and went on to serve as a coach of the New Zealand national side.

Across his international career, Bracewell featured as a seam-bowling all-rounder, contributing with both bat and ball. His tenure with the New Zealand side spanned over a decade before he stepped away from international cricket.
