Overview
Dimple Yadav (née Rawat; born 15 January 1978) is an Indian politician affiliated with the Samajwadi Party. She is the incumbent Member of Parliament from the Mainpuri Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh.
Yadav has previously represented Kannauj in the Lok Sabha for two terms. She is currently serving her second term from Mainpuri.
She is married to Akhilesh Yadav, president of the Samajwadi Party and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Through this marriage she is the daughter-in-law of Mulayam Singh Yadav, the founder-patron of the Samajwadi Party, who also served as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and as Defence Minister of India.
