Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam (20 September 1954 – 7 December 2013) was an Indian actor, comedian and film director who worked predominantly in Telugu cinema. Known for his unique style and distinctive dialogue modulation, he came to be regarded as one of the highest-paid and leading comedians of the Telugu film industry, and enjoyed a wide following among Telugu audiences.
