Overview

Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU) is a National Law University located in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was founded in 2018 and is part of the network of National Law Universities established across various states in India to impart legal education.

The university derives its name from the Dharmashastra tradition, a body of ancient Indian texts dealing with law, ethics, and conduct. As a National Law University, DNLU is dedicated to teaching and research in the field of law.

The Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court serves as the Chancellor of the university. As of 2021, Manoj Kumar Sinha was serving as the Vice-Chancellor of DNLU.
