Overview
Dhanya Balakrishna is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Telugu and Tamil cinema. She began her screen career with a supporting role in A. R. Murugadoss's science-fiction action film 7 Aum Arivu (2011), which marked her introduction to Tamil audiences.
Following her debut, she featured in a number of notable Tamil and Telugu projects. Her Tamil credits include Gautham Vasudev Menon's romantic drama Neethaane En Ponvasantham (2012) and Atlee's directorial debut Raja Rani (2013). In Telugu, she appeared in Srikanth Addala's family drama Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2013), working alongside an ensemble cast.
