Devika Devadoss (born Prameela Devi; 25 April 1943 – 2 May 2002), known mononymously as Devika, was an Indian actress who worked predominantly in Tamil and Telugu cinema, along with a handful of Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi films. She was among the popular lead actresses of the 1960s in the southern film industries.

Background and family
Devika was born into a family with deep roots in the early Telugu film industry. She was the daughter of Gajapati Naidu and the granddaughter of Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu, widely regarded as a doyen and pioneer of Telugu cinema. One of her uncles, C. Basudev, served as a Mayor of Chennai.
Career
Devika established herself as a leading actress in South Indian cinema during the 1960s. While the bulk of her work was in Tamil and Telugu films, she also appeared in select Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi productions, making her one of the more linguistically versatile heroines of her era.
Personal life
Her only daughter, Kanaka, also went on to become a film actress. Devika died on 2 May 2002 at the age of 59.
Significance
Devika's career represents a continuity in the Naidu family's long association with Indian cinema, stretching from the pioneering work of Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu in the silent and early sound era to her own prominence as a leading lady in the 1960s, and further into the next generation through her daughter Kanaka.
