Overview
DIT University, formerly known as the Dehradun Institute of Technology, is a private university located in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, India. The institution offers higher education in technical and allied disciplines and operates under the regulatory framework applicable to private universities in the state.
The university has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with Grade A. NAAC, an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission of India, assesses and accredits institutions of higher education on the basis of parameters such as teaching, learning, research, infrastructure and governance.
