Overview

Chhagan Bhujbal (born 15 October 1947) is an Indian politician from Maharashtra. He is a member of the 15th Legislative Assembly of Maharashtra, representing the Yeola Assembly constituency, and serves in the Government of Maharashtra headed by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Bhujbal has held senior positions in the state government over the course of his political career. He served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra during 1999–2003 and again during 2009–2010.

In addition to his tenure as Deputy Chief Minister, he has held cabinet portfolios in the Government of Maharashtra, including Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Public Works Department.
