Career
Shamshuddin progressed through the BCCI's umpiring ranks, officiating in first-class fixtures including the Ranji Trophy, the Duleep Trophy and the Irani Cup, as well as in limited-overs domestic competitions such as the Vijay Hazare Trophy and the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He has also umpired matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
His domestic experience led to inclusion on the ICC's international panel, through which he has stood as an on-field umpire and television umpire in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
