Overview

Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University (CRSU) is a state university located in the city of Jind, Haryana, India. It was established by the Haryana State Legislature through Act 28 of 2014, with the date of establishment recorded as 24 July.

Prior to attaining the status of a full-fledged university, the institution functioned as the Kurukshetra University Post Graduate Regional Centre. Its conversion into an independent state university expanded the scope of higher education available within the region.

The university is named after Chaudhary Ranbir Singh, after whom the institution carries its present designation. Its territorial jurisdiction extends over the district of Jind.
