Background
Centurion University was accorded the status of a university in 2010. Its earlier main campus was located at Parlakhemundi in the Gajapati district of southern Odisha, while its constituent campus at Jatni, on the fringes of Bhubaneswar, has since become the main campus of the university.
The university has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an 'A+' Grade, becoming, at the time of the award, the youngest private university to have received that distinction.
