Overview
Binod Kumar Das (Nepali: विनोद कुमार दास; born 26 April 1983) is a Nepalese former cricketer and a former captain of the Nepal national cricket team. An all-rounder, he is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler.
Das made his debut for Nepal against the United Arab Emirates in November 2000. He went on to lead the side in international fixtures and is regarded as one of the early prominent figures in Nepalese cricket.
Under his captaincy, Nepal Under-19s took part in the 2000 Under-19 World Cup held in Sri Lanka. The team subsequently finished as Plate Runners-up at the 2002 Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand. Das also captained Nepal to victory in the 2006 ACC Premier League.
