Overview
Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University (BNMU), also known as B. N. Mandal University, is a state university located at Laloo Nagar in Madhepura, Bihar, India. It was established on 10 January 1992 and is named after the socialist leader Bhupendra Narayan Mandal.
The university exercises jurisdiction over the districts of Madhepura, Saharsa, and Supaul in the Kosi region of Bihar. Its academic activities are carried out through a network of constituent and affiliated colleges spread across these districts.
BNMU offers programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels across a range of disciplines. Teaching, examinations, and research within its territorial jurisdiction are coordinated by the university through its university campus and affiliated institutions.
