Overview
Bhakti Prajnan Keshava (1898–1968) was an Indian Gaudiya Vaishnava monk and religious teacher. He is recognised as the founder of the Gaudiya Vedanta Samiti, an institution established to propagate the teachings of the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition associated with the 16th-century saint Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

Background
Bhakti Prajnan Keshava belonged to the Gaudiya Vaishnava lineage, a devotional school of Vaishnavism that traces its theological and devotional inheritance to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (1486–1534) of Bengal. The tradition emphasises bhakti (loving devotion) directed towards Krishna, and is grounded textually in works such as the Bhagavata Purana and the writings of the Six Goswamis of Vrindavan.

As a monastic teacher in the Gaudiya tradition, Bhakti Prajnan Keshava dedicated his life to preaching, teaching, and the establishment of institutional structures for the practice and study of Gaudiya Vaishnavism.
