Overview

Bethany Louise Mooney, born on 14 January 1994, is an Australian professional cricketer who represents the Australian national women's cricket team as a batter across all three formats of the game.

At the domestic level, Mooney plays as a wicket-keeper-batter. She turns out for Western Australia in Australian domestic cricket and for the Perth Scorchers in the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL).

In the Women's Premier League (WPL) in India, Mooney represents the Gujarat Giants franchise, contributing to the side as a top-order batter and wicket-keeper.

At the conclusion of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2020 in March 2020, Mooney rose to the position of the world's number one batter in Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket.
