Belpahar railway station is a railway station serving the town of Belpahar in the Jharsuguda district of Odisha, India. It lies on the Howrah–Nagpur–Mumbai line, one of the principal trunk routes of the Indian Railways, and falls under the administrative jurisdiction of the Sambalpur railway division of the East Coast Railway zone.

Location and setting
Belpahar is an industrial town in western Odisha, situated in the coal- and mineral-rich belt of the Ib River valley. The station serves both passenger traffic and the surrounding industrial establishments, including refractories and allied units that have historically been associated with the town. It is positioned between Brajrajnagar and Jharsuguda Junction, the latter being a major junction on the route.
Line and connectivity
The Howrah–Nagpur–Mumbai line connects two of India's largest metropolitan regions and passes through Kharagpur, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Bilaspur and Nagpur. Belpahar lies on the Bilaspur–Jharsuguda section of this corridor. The route carries a significant volume of freight, particularly coal originating from the Ib Valley and Korba coalfields, alongside long-distance passenger services. The line through Belpahar is electrified, supporting electric traction for both passenger and goods trains.
Administration
The station is administered by the Sambalpur railway division, which was created within the East Coast Railway zone after the latter's formation in 2003. Prior to this reorganisation, the section was managed under the South Eastern Railway zone.
