Barrackpore Racecourse railway station

Barrackpore Racecourse railway station was a railway station located in Barrackpore, in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, India. It is no longer in operational use and is generally listed among the abandoned railway stations of the state.

Barrackpore is a historic cantonment town on the eastern bank of the Hooghly River, situated to the north of Kolkata. The town developed around the British military cantonment established in the late 18th century and grew into one of the early urban centres of colonial Bengal.
