Bangriposi is a town situated in the northern part of Odisha, in Mayurbhanj district, close to the foothills of the Similipal range. The station serves as a rail access point for travellers heading to areas around Bangriposi and the surrounding parts of the district, which is largely rural and forested.
Line and connectivity
The station lies at the terminus of the branch line that extends from Rupsa Junction, which is itself located on the Howrah–Chennai main line. The branch passes through stations in the interior of Mayurbhanj district before terminating at Bangriposi. From Rupsa, passengers can access broader connections towards Kharagpur, Balasore and other major nodes.
