Bandra Colony metro station is a station on Line 3 (Aqua Line) of the Mumbai Metro, the city's first fully underground metro corridor. It is part of the Colaba–Bandra–SEEPZ rapid transit project being implemented by the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC).

Overview
The station serves the Bandra Colony neighbourhood and adjoining residential pockets in the western suburbs of Mumbai. As an underground stop on the Aqua Line, it forms part of a north–south corridor designed to ease pressure on the Western Railway suburban network and the city's congested arterial roads.
Line 3 context
Line 3 of the Mumbai Metro is a fully underground line running from Cuffe Parade in south Mumbai to Aarey in the north, connecting major employment, commercial and transport hubs including Nariman Point, Worli, the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), the domestic and international airport terminals, and the SEEPZ industrial zone. The corridor is being delivered by MMRC, a special purpose vehicle jointly owned by the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra, with funding support from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Significance
Bandra Colony station strengthens metro access to the Bandra area, supplementing existing connectivity provided by the Bandra suburban railway station on the Western and Harbour lines. By integrating with other Aqua Line stations near BKC and the airport, it contributes to a multi-modal transport network in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
