Bamandongri railway station is a suburban railway station located in Navi Mumbai, in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India. It serves the locality of Bamandongri and adjoining residential areas in the Uran taluka, and forms part of the suburban rail network operated by the Central Railway zone of Indian Railways.

Background
The station lies on the Nerul/Belapur–Uran railway line, a suburban corridor developed jointly by the Central Railway and the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) to provide rail connectivity between the existing Mumbai suburban network and the Uran area, which hosts the Jawaharlal Nehru Port and several industrial townships. The project was conceived to extend Mumbai's suburban services into the largely road-dependent Uran belt of Raigad district.
Services and connectivity
Bamandongri is served by suburban electric multiple unit (EMU) services running between stations on the Harbour Line and points along the Uran extension. The station provides access to nearby residential nodes developed by CIDCO and is one of several intermediate halts on the Uran corridor.
Significance
As part of the Nerul/Belapur–Uran suburban project, Bamandongri contributes to easing road traffic between Navi Mumbai and Uran, supporting commuter movement to industrial, port, and SEZ areas in the region. The line is considered an important component of the planned transport network for the broader Navi Mumbai region, including links to the Navi Mumbai International Airport area.
